Hello lovelies, welcome!
I’m Soul Surgeon, Dr. Tamy, inviting you into a weekly contemplation to unlock the freedom and peace within, one Permission Slip at a time.
Today’s Permission Slip : I give myself permission to contemplate time ✨
In this week’s Permission Slip I share a poem I wrote about this illusive thing, that’s not a thing, called Time. I invite you to read it three times from start to finish, it’s not long!
First time : read it really fast, as if you were performing at a slam poetry night. Allow yourself to get out of breath.
Second time : read it at your normal pace. Not too fast, not too slow.
Third time : read it slowly, savoring each word like a chocolate truffle. Contemplate each morsel of time and what it means to you.
Lastly : engage with the time prompts at the end of the piece.
A Blink of Time
no time
anytime
sped up time
slowed down time
***
bits of time
lost time
windows of time
morsels of time
***
crumbs of time
spoonfuls of time
big blocks of time
huge chunks of time
***
pockets of time
keeping time
snuggle time
family time
***
time is money
time to heal
time standing still
time to kill
***
halftime
quality time
lazy time
lost time
***
hidden time
wasted time
dreams of time
time has no time
***
non-existent time
before beginningless time
do you have the time?
is there still time?
***
where did the time go ?
I need more time

Journaling Prompts✨
Pick your favorite line from the above Time poem and expand on what it means to you.
How do you relate to time? Is it a friend, an enemy, or something else entirely?
How does the concept of running out of time influence your decisions and priorities?
I invite you to write your own PS : I give myself permission to…
With gratitude, light, and a dash of humor,
Dr. Tamy, Soul Surgeon ✨
