A really nice article that's gets down to the nitty-gritty of spiritual evolution, psychological liberation, and self-healing. Thank you for masterfully putting these things together.

Okay, seriously. All of what this speaks to. The soul. Awareness, self-reflection. All of it... this is right up my alley. This is what I work on every morning with my Stoic philosophy reading and journaling and more. Setting my soul on fire. Healing and doing the work. Reading "Stillness Speaks" by Eckhart Tolle right now as part of my morning reflection as well. And "A New Earth" rocked my soul and ripped it apart...

I am loving all of this. Soul Surgery. This needs to be a thing, a book or anything like that. Something I would read--hell, that I'd even talk about doing some ghostwriting on even-- Seriously, bring this to the world as you're doing, and keep spreading it. We need more of this raising the consciousness of the world that this is about. Love, love, love all of this. Thank you for sharing and keep spreading this love in the world.

I love it. This is exactly the path I’ve been walking and what I am am teaching my clients in my programs. Becoming conscious of the ego’s patterns; realizing that’s not who you are, and learning to connect with Self; finding yourself through your heart; using specific techniques to help change patterns at the level of brain and body; and integrating practices in daily life that keep intention and attention engaged with commitment. What I call the path to conscious embodiment.

This all sounds fascinating, Tamy. I used to get into Eckhart Tolle (I may have that name all wrong) and the couple who someone talked through. He died, then the entities talked through her. Sorry - damn dementia. This is very frustrating trying to ah! I got it - Abraham. There used to be this dynamic website where you could post and chat called “Powerful Intentions.” I really miss that. Between that site falling and personal experiences, I’ve not been into any personal growth at all. Maybe I’m on the cusp of a new beginning.

I know Abraham Hicks well, I even went on a cruise she gave in the Mediterranean. I'm not into her teachings anymore as they contradict the Buddhist teachings that I resonate much more with. I LOVE Eckhart and seeing him talking live tomorrow for the second time, so FUN.

Definitely sounds to me like you are on the cusp of a new beginning of personal growth. The time is NOW.✨✨✨

When I think of how the medical profession in the UK approach so called mental health issues, it terrifies me that they're so far off the mark. Since my 'positive disintegration' 6+ years ago, I've learned so much about myself and how to heal. I can feel my ego softening and my need to control everything easing. It's a long, slow process (for me anyway) but articles like this really help, thank you 😊 🙏 Karen

Thank you for your insightful message based on your experience. How wonderful that your ego continues to soften in this long, slow process called life. * and I didn’t know your name is Karen lol

As ‘The Good Doctor’s’ most loyal patient (self-appointed, but surely by now, honorary), I’ve come to expect a certain standard of insight, and you’ve delivered, once again. Consider this another session where I leave scribbling notes and wondering if I should be paying extra.

On a serious note, what I love about your writing is the way you manage to dissect something as slippery as the ego without turning it into a villain, or a project doomed to fail. You unravel it gently, like a skilled surgeon who knows the difference between cutting and healing. There’s precision here, but also a deep respect for the mystery of it all.

And the way you bridge science and soul… You take concepts like neuroplasticity, somatic release, and nervous system regulation and make them feel like part of an ancient wisdom tradition, without losing the rigour or the heart. It’s both grounded and expansive.

Thank you, as always, for the medicine.

Siggy xx

Given your unexpectedly outstanding review of my expertise, the fees for our subsequent meetings have officially been doubled. Effective - immediately.

In addition to your original upcoming Netflix series based on your Substack page @Siggy: Raised By Shrinks , I can’t help but suggest that our Substack interactions might be considered for your next Netflix series project.

After all, who can resist : after a lifetime of being raised by shrinks, said human meanders onto Substack for some light conversations, but finds himself in the clutches of a Soul Surgeon 😅
